Natalia Santos is a spanish visual artist dedicated to the study of skin and the human body. Her work is based on a critical and experimental perspective, with which she observes, questions and interprets the physical and symbolic presence that skin occupies in the contemporary world. Through painting, she addresses issues such as racism, aesthetics and identity, as well as other social issues. Her works have been part of several exhibitions at national scale, among them; -(2023) The skin has memory, Festival ART NOU, Barcelona - (2023) Unsubmissive gazes, FLIPA Art Gallery, Barcelona - (2022) AE22, Cultural Hall Bizkaia Aretoa, Bilbao. Her recent work has been awarded by the Pinacothèque Museum, Luxembourg, with the Certificate of Artistic Merit Luxembourg Art Prize 2022.
